My name is Michelle and I am a piano teacher and the Owner at Los Gatos School of Music. I am a life-long Los Gatos resident. In fact, I still live in the neighborhood where I grew up, three doors down from my mom and dad! I’ve been married to Aurelio for 18+ years. We have three children together (Beatriz, 9 y/o, Auri, 14 y/o, and Mina, 18 y/o). That means I have my hands in all the Los Gatos public schools: Lexington Elementary, Fisher Middle School, and Los Gatos High School. That said, we care about this community a lot!  I'm looking to bring high quality teachers who LOVE music, together with eager students.  Let's make music!

I've been playing piano since the age of 6; 12 years with the same teacher! Mrs. Rayfield inspired in me a passion for expressing myself through music. I value the connection I make with each student based on their needs and teach them the basics (Theory, Performance, Note Reading, Music History) but also strive to help them discover a life long relationship with music.
