Alex Vasilevich is an instructor of electric and classical guitar, bass guitar, and music production. Also a professional guitarist and bassist in Santa Cruz, CA, he has been teaching since 2014. 

 

Alex is comfortable teaching children and adults at all levels, and can instruct nearly any style of guitar. His favorite genres to cover are metal, classical, funk, neo-soul, and afro-cuban. Lessons will naturally incorporate aspects of music theory and keyboard knowledge in order to broaden their practical application.

 

Having been described as having a unique curiosity towards the fundamentals of improvement, Alex provides a fun and laid-back environment to work on the skills that help us overcome creative and technical blocks. Whether you are looking to prepare for a high pressure performance or improvise in the moment, he will give you the tools needed to succeed. 

 

In his spare time, Alex enjoys backpacking, producing music, seeing live music, reading, and organizing events.
