Diana Rey
Piano, Voice, Bass guitar
Diana Rey started playing piano when she was four and her love of music has since expanded into vocals and bass guitar. She has performed as bassist/backing vocalist of The Killer Queens (an all female tribute to Queen) at AT&T ballpark, the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco and other notable venues, and has played in a wide variety of genres on piano, vocals, and bass guitar. Bass Musician Magazine as well as the Women’s International Music Network (WIMN) both ran a feature story on her in May of 2017.
In addition to her passion for music and performing, Diana loves working with kids of all ages. She enjoys figuring out how to best teach and encourage each individual student to shine in their own way. Students can expect to learn how to read, write and understand the language of music including music theory, build a repertoire filled with songs from different musical genres, memorize chord progressions to play in an ensemble, and figure out what direction to go in their own personal future musical endeavors.
Diana is currently accepting students of all ages for Bass, Piano and Voice. Please call (408) 395-7436 or submit your information here and someone from LGSM will get in touch shortly!
